It IS scary. I think it's better to admit that and not bottle up the fear. Is that okay for me to say? Haha, just kidding. But, yes. Yes to all of this. It's surreal. You're doing great. Get well soon.
"Plot Twist"! Great line. But, Ouch! Brings back memories of a miserable Christmas-time trip back east. Two weeks of ankle-throbbing misery. Hope your story turns out to involve a lot less Tylenol than mine.
I’m so sorry about your ankle and all you have/are going though. It is so true about being scared. I hate when people tell you about so and so getting better when it’s not how you are feeling. I have marveled at how you share so honestly and eloquently.
Are you at all thinking about doing the ring in your boot? I'm no doctor, nor should I be. I guess it could be dangerous. But certainly you can do enough to keep your strength, right? Must be some safe stuff you can do in a ring with a boot on. And going upside down is important.

Thank you Cheryl -- I am trying to let the fear flow freely and then maybe it will go away!

Oh there has been a lot of Tylenol so far!

Thank you so much!
Jeez, Martha!
I knooowwwwww
We’ll, you did something special. What a terrible drag! I’m still scared after 15 years. Life is scary. Period. It is good to admit fear.
Thanks Sandi!
Get well pronto. The world needs your voice!
Thank you Aaron!

Oh god no I had to stop doing that even before I broke my dumb ankle! I'll get back in the air when this is all over. Right now it's too dangerous.
Oh, man. Sorry to hear it. Here's to flying again, all in due time.
