It’s the last long week of summer, the weather is glorious, and I just had my fourth cycle of chemo and my brain is a tangle. So I’m taking the week off. But sharing here something from 2015, when I had just started studying circus. It ties in with some loosely woven threads I’ve been playing with about strength and weakness and failure and effort. Maybe by next week they’ll be better bound into whole cloth!
Here’s the link, from the Rumpus, with adorable original art by my friend Elizabeth M. Tamny. For the record, I can totally do a cross-back straddle now.
Have a great week everybody; go to the beach if you can.
